Golf, Wine & Chateaubriand – Not a Bad Day!

After 36 holes of golf in Pebble Beach, a group of 60 men from an international trucking company came to The Perry House to literally be wined and dined.  Legacy Marketing Partners has put together a fabulous weekend for this group in years past and every year they do a wine pairing dinner, each year at a different location.  This year it was at The Perry House – yeah!!

Philip Hansell, out of Napa, brought wines from Etude Winery in Caneros for this tasting; and our Executive Chef, Dean Young, was at the top of his game dishing up delicacies paired just right for the Etude wines. Even though our professionally trained staff has served a bottle of wine or two before, Mr. Hansell gave our always-eager-to-learn staff some suggestions for how he wanted the wine handled for this affair.

The table setting alone made you wish you were on the invite list. The lime green and navy blue went so well together, and all those glasses — I’ve never seen that many in one sitting before. This event was indeed quite special and we were thrilled to be a part of it!
