A Fabulous Fundraiser to Support the Hope Center of Monterey

Events by Classic was proud to have the opportunity to participate in the Hope Center’s 1st Annual Fundraiser. While the menu prepared and served by Classic Catering was, of course, yummy, the main attraction of the evening was the live auction, which was delightfully MC’d by Jon Belmont . Our staff had as much fun watching the guests out bid each other as they evidently did. Between the silent auction, live auction, great drink, camaraderie, dancing, and did I mention the food, I would say that the Hope Center’s first Fundraiser was a great success, and we hope to be able to make our contribution by being a part of this wonderful event again next year.

There was a nice diversity of auction items, making it easy for everyone to want to bid on something!

The Hope Center’s founding members are five moms who volunteer their time hoping to help end hunger on the Monterey Peninsula. Helping them with this endeavor are many students which is another very special benefit of this program . . . inspiring our kids to reach out to others. Did you know that 1 in 5 people in Monterey County needs food assistance?

I think fun was had by all bidding on both the silent and live auction items!

Events by Classic would like to say thank you to the all-volunteer board for their tireless efforts for the Hope Center: Kim Lemaire, Kim Ruiz, Christy Rector, Terri Britton, Michelle Russell and Maryann Reynolds.
